The image which is displayed live in 16.7 million colours on a high resolution computer monitor can be altered with the help of a special software programme on the screen by the surgeon to get the desired result. Although the chief advantage of using the Plasoft is that the doctor and patient can work in tandem before surgical remedy or during consultation, it has also got a plethora of other features that ease the doctors' overall job functions. The software, for instance, can store all data pertaining to past patients with the images and methods of treatment employed for future references.
Sun Exports Medical Software Division aims at developing new software solutions for the medical community as well as marketing and supporting some of the software already developed. The company claims that the software systems are currently being used at more than 200 sites across the country.
